We have decades of experience customizing for this exact market and that is all we do. Your IT department has all kinds of demands and, good as they are, they may not have the same depth of familiarity. Outsource your problems to us and we are happy to help.

Our portfolio is just getting started. Where is the sweet spot for both of us?

Do not worry, we have helped similar clients to grow and they are not small any longer. In general, a portfolio of 75 to 100 million dollars will see returns from the benefits of a custom system. We can usually establish first-year pricing that lets you get rolling, as long as some budget exists to get the customizations you will want.

Do you provide data, models, or assumptions?

Our expertise is in integrating whatever data, models, or assumptions you want to use. We do not try to tell you how to approach pricing and analyzing your bonds. Instead, we make it easy for you to get what you want, including integrating whatever you want to connect with to get the insights you need. We are a longtime Intex Solutions partner and cannot replace a relationship with Intex for licensed data. Intex and IntexCalc are trademarks of Intex Solutions and are used with their permission.

What is involved in getting started?

It is easy. Ask for a demo and we will show you the system in action and talk about your needs. Client relationships normally start with the initial group of licensed users, a scoped implementation project for specific starting functionality, and then ongoing support, maintenance, and phased customization as appropriate.

How soon can users get access to what they want?

Depending on the complexity of your specific project, the usual implementation project is 8 to 12 weeks. Continued customization depends on your needs, budget, and ideas.

Do you do one-off projects with no ongoing maintenance?

Client relationships do require some ongoing maintenance, which is a significant part of our value. Data sources change, connections can break, and assumptions need to be revised. Outsourcing these to your Thetica relationship means your work is not interrupted by unexpected demands. If you have a project in mind, tell us about it. We are always interested in new ideas.

What we offer is so much more than a same-for-all-users web app that a short trial of the demo system will never give an accurate picture. As an alternative to a trial, we can discuss a paid proof-of-concept project with further work contingent upon your satisfaction.

Includes automation of cashflows and price/yield calculations no matter how complex, on a schedule or on the fly. Views and outputs such as one pagers and tear sheets are highly customizable. All results feed into your individual database in Thetica SPD.

Thetica SPD (Structured Products Database): SPD eliminates the issues from siloed data kept in systems that can’t talk to each other. It allows clients to fully leverage investments in market data as well as their internally generated insights, enabling rapid distribution of data, analysis and calculations from Thetica Trader Tools. Multiple options exist for database access and queries.

Thetica Infrastructure: Proven building blocks get custom systems up and running fast. Client IT staff can concentrate on other demands without the budget strain of building sophisticated solutions from scratch or maintaining data connections. ‍Beginning a relationship with Thetica Systems is straightforward and designed to give you clarity from the start. It typically begins with a demo, where our team walks you through the platform and explores how you currently price, analyze, and compare CMBS, RMBS, ABS, and CLO portfolios. This conversation helps surface the priorities, challenges, and workflows that matter most to your team.

From there, we work with you to outline the first group of licensed users and understand how they will interact with the system. This naturally leads into defining the initial phase of the implementation, aligning on the functionality you need first and how the system should be shaped around your specific requirements. In many cases, this first phase includes a small, clearly scoped set of features (typically something we can deliver within 40 to 80 hours of work) that gives your team a concrete working deliverable and demonstrates our ability to deliver the full solution.

Implementation itself generally spans 8 to 12 weeks, depending on project complexity. During this period, the configuration, data integrations, analytics, and reporting capabilities are put in place so your users can step into a system built for the way they work. During the initial Phase I work, clients pay a monthly fee that covers development and the hosting environment. At the end of the first month, clients can either sign off on the Phase I deliverable and begin the licensing term (transitioning to the annual fee structure) or choose not to continue.

Once your team gains access to the tailored environment, they can begin using it in their day-to-day analysis. This is not a one-time setup. The relationship includes ongoing support, maintenance, and phased enhancements so the system can continue evolving as your needs and ideas develop.
