What is it that you do?

We’re an Intex Solutions partner serving the structured finance market, specializing in custom-tailored analytics and data integration. We enable our clients to price, analyze, and compare CMBS, RMBS, all types of ABS, and CLO portfolios exactly as they want to, with faster results and fewer headaches.

How do I know if Thetica is a good fit for my firm?

We can speed up work, improve results, and reduce the effort required to get vital information for better decisions. We’re the better alternative to a static platform that’s the same for everyone, a legacy system with all of its problems, or a consulting project that then becomes a chore to maintain.

We’re an established firm with an IT department. How can Thetica help us?

We have decades of experience tailoring solutions for this exact market and that’s all we do. Your IT department has all kinds of demands and, good as they are, they may not have the same depth of familiarity. Outsource your problems to us – we’re happy to help.

Our portfolio is just getting started. Where’s the sweet spot for both of us?

Don’t worry, we’ve helped similar clients to grow (and they aren’t small any longer). In general, a portfolio of $100MM or more will see returns from a custom system. We can usually establish first-year pricing that lets you get rolling, so long as some budget exists to get the customizations your users will want, once they see the possibilities.  

Do you provide data, models, or assumptions?

Our expertise is in integrating whatever data, models, or assumptions you want to use. We don’t try to tell you how to approach pricing and analyzing your bonds. Instead, we make it easy for you to get what you want, including integrating whatever you want to connect with to get the insights you need.

What’s involved in getting started?

It’s easy – ask for a demo and we’ll show you the system in action and talk about your needs. Client relationships normally start with the initial group of licensed users, a scoped implementation project for specific starting functionality, and then ongoing support, maintenance, and phased customization as appropriate.

How soon can users get access to what they want?

Depending on the complexity of your specific project, the usual implementation project is 8 – 12 weeks; some access may be possible prior to completion of the full project so users can test and give feedback. Once the system is in operation, any continued customization will depend on your needs, budget, and ideas.

Do you do one-off projects without ongoing maintenance?

Client relationships do require some ongoing maintenance, which is a significant part of our value. Data sources change, connections can break, assumptions need to be revised – outsourcing these to your Thetica engineers means your work isn’t interrupted by unexpected demands. But if you have a project in mind, tell us about it – we’re always interested in new ideas.

Can we get a quick trial?

What we offer is so much more than a same-for-all-users web app that a short trial will never give an accurate picture. As an alternative, we offer a series of interactive demos where your users can challenge our capabilities with as many examples as they want. We can also discuss ideas for a paid proof-of-concept project, with further work contingent upon your satisfaction with the results.
