Jack Broad - Co-founder/CEO
Jack is Founder/CEO of Thetica. He has been working on Wall Street for 20+ years designing and building systems for dealers, hedge funds and various other financial institutions in some of the most demanding markets including Convertible Bond and Risk Arbitrage systems throughout the 1990’s, and was building systems to manage the explosion in Corporate CDS market in the late 90’s. He was there at the very start of the CDS on ABS market and has designed and built full-blown trade capture and valuations systems for two major Wall Street dealers starting in June 2005 with the introduction of the ISDA document for CDS on ABS. These systems have been integral to the operations and risk assessment for the ABS markets for these dealers. He is an expert business analyst who insists on working very closely with the end users of software systems. He has been a pioneer in rapid application development and agile technologies throughout his career. His focus has always been on getting sound technology solutions rapidly into place in fast changing markets and assisting clients to maximize their returns. His goal is to see Thetica in the forefront of technology on Wall Street.
Ariel Yankilevich - Co-founder/CTO
Ariel is Founder/CTO/CIO of Thetica Systems and main architect, designer, tech lead of our products. He has 20+ years of hands-on experience in software architecture and programming with an electronics and math background. Formerly an Israeli Navy officer, he headed the Personal-Computing department of the Israeli Navy, in charge of procurement and introducing new PC technology to the Navy computer center. He joined forces with Jack Broad more than 6 years ago and together they’re delivering top quality software solutions to top financial institutions. He has strong knowledge of structured products and has worked with Intex API through many consulting arrangements. Ariel interacts directly with business users such as traders and analysts on a daily basis thus he has a good grasp of what business users need and want. Ariel has designed and programmed complex analytics, trade capturing and processing systems for the ABS/CDO/ CMBS markets as a senior consultant at Wall St. He has extensive knowledge and strong experience with various software architecture models, Intex data and API, Bloomberg, Loan-Performance, ABS.NET, Trepp data, C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, Web Services, VB, Excel/VBA, and XML and has a unique ability to study new areas fast and think of ways to improve existing procedures and processes.
